I have a degree in psychology and grew up in a small company family, which gave me a great interest in business and business operations and is the reason why becoming a consultant seemed like a natural step after practicing as a clinical psychologist in the USA and a military psychologist in the Swedish Armed Forces.
My consultancy journey began when I was hired by an major international recruitment company who gave me the responsibility of establishing an office in Malmö. In 1982, I decided to start my own company and since then have been running and developing AWD Personalutveckling AB.
Over the years, I've worked with companies in many different industries, focusing on business. Of course, my work and my methods have evolved over the years, which is why my professional focus is now on working on management and organisation development through the use of selection assessments, careers advice executive coaching, management audits and teambuilding.
For a number of years, I've been a member of Styrelsepoolen, www.styrelsepoolen.se. I sit on the Boards of Barsebäck
Golf & Country Club AB, Järavallens Conference & Country
Club AB, Vens Golfclub AB and SEB, Malmö. My
involvement in golf has also led to a role in the
Swedish Golf Federation as a member of the
Nomination Committee.
